A nanny share opportunity for a Brisbane Family
We are currently seeking one more family to join our nannyshare arrangement starting on 2nd of October 2023.
Our experienced nanny (Roxy - the owner of Timmy and Tammy) has been providing excellent care for a family in Fig Tree Pocket, and we are excited to extend this opportunity to another family. With a nannyshare, your child will have the opportunity to interact and learn from other children while receiving personalised care. Your child will benefit from socialising with other children, which can aid in their cognitive and social development.
In addition, a nannyshare arrangement can be a cost-effective solution for families. You can rest assured that your child will be receiving high-quality care from our experienced and trained nanny, while also benefiting from socializing with other children, whilst enjoying meaningful and educational activities and local excursions.
The nannyshare would take place at the family's home in Fig Tree Pocket, with a schedule of 8/9am-3/4pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays. Ideally, you live within a 20-minute radius of this location for ease of drop-off and pick-up. We are open to discussing any additional needs or preferences you may have.
Our current typical nannyshare days look like this:
We begin our day with a morning adventure to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Mount Cootha Botanical Gardens, River Rocks Parklands, or anywhere within a 20-minute drive from our base. Lots of fun is had on these adventures, and your child will love exploring new places with our nanny. We enjoy lunch and snacks together, always checking to see what cool treats the other family packed too, as we all know someone else's lunch box tastes better. We then head back to the home for nap time, where we can reset and get ready for an afternoon of more fun. Afternoons are usually spent at home enjoying the activities, toys, and books. We have a sandpit outside and also a craft area, and sometimes we enjoy a walk to the park just down from the house.
This is an amazing opportunity for the right family, we already have all the finer arrangements in place, with double pram, extra car seat, written agreements, risk assessed home, insured nanny with all the checks, etc.

About Us:
We’re Maurice and Steph, husband and wife. We work full time from home running two businesses. We’ve had Roxy’s help 3 days a week for the last year, and it’s been a life saver!

About Freya:
Freya is 2 years old and a very busy little girl. She is our only child…so far.
No allergies or special needs, and extremely active. She prefers to play outside, and her favourite destination is Lone Pine.
Our Home:
We are located in Fig Tree Pocket opposite Biami Yumba park. We have a large fenced backyard with a sandpit, grass and concreted area. Water and messy play is totally fine.
We have a guest room available for your little one’s nap time with either a soft fold out bed on the floor, or a travel cot if preferred. This is also hooked up to a Nanit camera for monitoring.
Freya’s playroom is large, sunny and safe. There is also a craft area on the balcony for painting, drawing and making playdough etc.
We have an indoor cat called Zeus who is surprisingly tolerant of small people.

Roxy is extremely kind, patient and empathetic, and more than we hope for in a nanny for our little girl. We feel so lucky to have found her.
She is English and lives here permanently, married to an Australian man.
She and her husband Jack live on the Gold Coast, so she drives to us for consecutive days work. She stays with us during these days in our spare guest room because it happens to work out perfectly that way for us all.
