With 13 years of experience in childcare, I've always felt a deep connection to nurturing and supporting others. As the founder of Timmy and Tammy, I'm thrilled to bring my passion and knowledge to creating exciting event packages for families on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and beyond.
For me, working with children goes beyond just a job; it's a calling. Every day is filled with adventures and magical moments as I see the endless positivity, curiosity, and creativity of children. Guiding and teaching them brings me immense pride and joy. I specialize in organizing fun group games, exciting challenges, and crafting, all designed to bring happiness to children's hearts.
In addition to event planning, I'm devoted to offering customized support to children and families dealing with anxiety, self-esteem issues, ASD, and trauma through personal coaching sessions and workshops. As a certified children's yoga teacher, I incorporate mindfulness into my work to promote wellness and self-awareness. I'm also deeply committed to promoting sustainability and love inspiring eco-friendly habits in children and families through creative and engaging initiatives.
The opportunity to work with children and families fills me with gratitude, and I'm eager to continue making a positive, lasting impact in their lives. With my event and planning skills, I am dedicated to creating safe and magical experiences for children at events. I look forward to the chance to contribute to the joy and well-being of young ones, ensuring that each event becomes a cherished memory for all involved.

WHAEA:

I spend a lot of time teaching and supporting students with special needs, whether in the classroom, after school care programs, or working with children in the foster care system. What I love the most are those "lightbulb" moments when children surprise us with their progress. It's heartwarming to see them grow, flourish, and overcome challenges. I believe children teach us a lot more than we ever teach them. Their perspective on the world is refreshing, and their innocence and wonder remind us of the beauty in the simple things. Being a part of their lives and witnessing their growth is incredibly rewarding.

HARMONY:

Working with children of all ages is a true joy for me! Witnessing their growth, learning, and development is a wonderful experience, especially since each child has their own unique personality, quirks, and sense of humor. Their unexpected surprises and ability to make me laugh every day keeps my heart young and fills me with the magic of childhood once again. I find working with children to be rewarding in so many ways. It allows me to be creative and bring a positive impact to their lives. Whether it's teaching them new skills, leading them in activities, or simply being a listening ear, I feel a deep sense of fulfillment knowing that I am making a difference in their lives.

CHIEKO:

I am passionate about children developing knowledge through play activities. Whenever possible, I provide the best care and experiences for the children. Having worked at a Kindergarten in Japan for four years, I have a deep understanding of how to engage and nurture children in a positive environment.

All children in the world bring me happiness and teach me new things every day. I truly enjoy spending my time with amazing children, creating activities, playing the piano, singing, dancing, making puppets, and teaching Japanese Language.

GEORGIA:

I went into childcare with the passion of wanting to care for people, and since beginning my work with children, my love for caring has only grown deeper. There is no greater happiness than seeing a child's smile, their growth, their curiosity for the world, their first steps, their laugh, their tears followed by more smiles; seeing many children develop and become individual, beautiful human beings is one of the greatest honors I have as a childcare professional. I love to bring my crafting talents and activities with me to any Timmy and Tammy event or even for a casual nanny night in.

NICOLE:

As an Early Childhood educator and nanny for Timmy and Tammy, I get to work with children of different ages every day! I absolutely love getting to know each and every family and making beautiful connections with them. Working with children brings me joy for many reasons! I love their energy, curiosity, and excitement as they learn and grow each and every day! I believe that the foundation of learning and interaction that a child receives at a young age greatly impacts their behaviors and learning in the future. I feel a child should be taught with love and understanding. I have always had a natural pull towards children, and I love watching them learn and grow while exploring the world. I most especially love being an influence for good and for learning in their young lives.

EMILY:

I've been immersed in the world of kids since forever – being the oldest among my siblings and surrounded by little cousins. Babysitting for friends and family has been a significant part of my journey, teaching me patience, creativity, and the joy of discovery. A pivotal moment came during a mission trip where I spent time in a school. The enthusiasm and curiosity in those kids' eyes struck a chord with me, propelling me towards studying Education. There's something truly magical about watching children grow, explore, and learn about the world around them.

I'm passionate about creating a warm and nurturing environment where kids feel safe to be themselves, ask questions, and dream big. Witnessing their development and seeing them light up with curiosity brings me immense joy and fulfillment and I'm excited to embark on new adventures and be a part of your child's journey, fostering a love for learning and exploration along the way. MONTANA:

I have been working in the childcare industry for three years, starting at the age of 16. Working with children has been a lifelong passion of mine, and it brings me immense joy and pride to be a part of their growth and development. As any fellow childcare enthusiast will tell you, each day with children is unique, and I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of getting to know each child's personality and quirks. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is being able to provide both care and education to children. Watching them learn and grow is an accomplishment that I take great pride in. Seeing them thrive in their own unique ways is an indescribable feeling that keeps me motivated and inspired. In my experience, becoming attached to the children I work with is natural, and I approach my job with a nurturing and caring attitude. I treat them as if they were my own, providing them with the attention and care they need to feel safe and secure.

SARAH:

I have dedicated my career to working with children. I specialize in supporting children with disabilities and find joy in helping them become more independent. As a valuable member of the Timmy and Tammy team, I go above and beyond to ensure the well-being of every child. My creativity, commitment, and hardworking nature make her indispensable. I have extensive experience caring for children with different needs and use my empathetic approach to build meaningful connections and encourage independence. I started my journey at 17 and continue to expand my skills with genuine love and dedication. My passion shines through in my exceptional work, making me a trusted companion for the children I care for.

JENN:

I am a psychologist from Colombia with lots of experience working with children. I have taken courses in parenting, child behavior, and using play for learning. My Colombian background has influenced how I care for and guide children. I have experience in helping children with cognitive skills, emotions, and basic needs. I believe children are very important for our society and I work hard to teach them boundaries and take care of them, knowing they are our future.

JULIETH

Hailing from Colombia, I am excited to share my love for childcare with families in Brisbane. Armed with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering acquired in 2022 and a strong focus on teaching methods, I effortlessly meld problem-solving, organization, and creativity into my approach to playdates and bedtime stories. I bring vast hands-on experience working with kids aged 2 to 11, encompassing interactive educational sessions and creating delightful moments. I strongly believe in nurturing each child's inquisitiveness and potential, striving to make our time together secure and incredibly enjoyable. I delight in planning a variety of activities including arts, crafts, and backyard adventures, aiming to not only entertain but also enlighten the children under my care. I am genuinely passionate about supporting childcare needs and am committed to making parents' lives easier while bringing more happiness to their children.
