Q. dO YOU DO LARGER SCALE EVENTS?
A. Yes, our event planners work alongside your venue, corporation and clients to assist at any size event. We have worked with popular Gold Coast and Brisbane venues and help provide these services.
Q. Will you travel?
A. Our childcarers can travel up to 25k outside of the Gold Coast Region, if the location is over 45km from the childcarers place of residence extra travel fees do apply.
Q. Can I meet with my nanny prior to the initial booking?
A. Absolutely! Placing a nanny into your home for the first time can be daunting, it might be your first night away from your little ones too! Our nannies are happy to meet with you to help settle any nerves and get to know the little ones before the booking.
Q. HOW MANY CHILDREN CAN YOU CARE FOR?
A. Our nanny : child ratios when providing wedding & special event nannies are as follows but also can change depending on many different measures, we want your children’s safety to be number 1 and we like to cater additional childcarers to meet those standards -
Newborn to 12 months 1 : 2
1- 2 years 1 : 3
2 – 3 years 1 : 4
3 – 5 years 1 : 5
5 + years 1 : 6
Q. do you offer overnight nannies?
A. Yes, overnight nannies are available and we offer a special overnight rate. Overnight nannies do require a seperate room for sleeping to be provided.
Q. dO YOU ALSO DO ADULT bell hire SETUPS?
A. Although predominantly we provide set ups for children, we have had a few requests from customers wanting to hire our bell tents for themselves and leaving the children at home (with a babysitter) sometimes a night away for the adults is needed and just as magical. We are happy to cater for any requests.
Q. WHAT ARE YOUR CANCELATION POLICIES?
A. If cancellation of either a Tammy Nanny or Entertainer service is made within 3 hours of a start time, a minimum of 3 hours will be charged to the client. If any wedding or event care packages are cancelled within 7 days of start date, then a 80% charge will occur. If cancelled within 14 days of start date a 50% charge will occur.
Q. Do your CHILD CARERS have police checks?
A. Yes, all our nannies and entertainers have provided the necessary checks and have tonnes of experience. Our childcarers carry their QLD blue cards on them and are accessible for you to look over.
